is it cheaper to make halloween pumpkin outfit for dd

my dd who is 2 says she wants a pumpkin outfit for her nursery party. im sure i could make one but would it be cheaper to buy one? where would be the cheapest place to buy the orange felt or fabric?

Sadly, I think unless you have lots of fabric and habdash hanging around in the right colours it is probably cheaper to buy one.

I was thinking of you Taytotayto yesterday because I was making a little bag to go with the dress I made (I sent you the PDF pattern) and I'd recommend it if you are looking for another project. I've made mine smaller, the body is about 10 x 8 inches and the straps about 13 inches in length, but it is the perfect size for a toddler.
