Anyone who has made liquid soap?

I've been making cold-process soap for a few months (with sodium hydroxide) and now feel ready to tackle a bit of liquid soap .

I know that you need potassium hydroxide but no idea where to get it from.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Ohhhh, I've been making Cold process for a couple ofyears now,but never tried liquid soap. So I've never looked for potassium Hydroxide. Where do you buy your normal lye from? Do they not stock it?

Ebay

MindtheGappp: Thanks - I seriously never thought of looking on Ebay - duh!

Pollyteapot - I've been getting my sodium hydroxide from soapmakersstore but they don't stock potassium hydroxide. Glad to see some other soap makers out there. Haven't been doing it long but it's so addictive - all my friends get soap for presents now whether they like it or not!

What do you wrap yours up in? I've experimented with origami paper, cardboard and have settled on hessian fabric cos it looks natural.

Anyway, thanks for advice and wish me luck with the liquids!
