Everyone is always staring into my widows as they walk past....should i EXPLOIT this ....???

have i got the courage to place the odd 'craft' item i have made in the widow of MY HOUSE (!!!)..with a price tag etc..... as everyone gawps in ....it's a busy pedestrian road...

what just gave me this idea...is i was showing my friend the santa teddy my mum made.... and in about 10 minutes... whilst talking.... loads of people smiled at me as if i was either a daft cow stood there holding a bear...or hopefully... that they thought it lovely....so i'm tempted to find out!(advantage i have is our window is only 4ft away from pavement)

last week we cleared out a room of 'junk' and arranged for it to be collected...by the time the man came...half had been taken by passers by....amazing our junk- their treasure!!!

also meant to say.... when i say exploit....i say it in all innocence!!! (even though currently i have a mini xmas tree in the widow with RED lights....mind you they don't flash!!)

Go for it i once bought a picture taht a local artist had displayed inmy dental surgery it was gorgeous and i couldnt resist it

There is a house near me that is right on a junction and when you are waiting for a break in the traffic you just naturally seem to look directly into this woman's lounge.

Last time I was there she had put a notice up saying "£1 a bloody look!"

Great idea - you could put a wee card in the window - "If you are interested in buying any of these items please just ring the doorbell"

it's just frustrating as my mum is a fantastic toymaker...and i make cards.... and we use eba...but it's never that sucessful...my dream is to have a shop....even a website would be fun compared to ebay.... but am so disorganised and scatty that i never get anywhere further than dreaming the dream!!!

Could you make some leaflets with details and pictures on and hang a leaflet holder on your gate for passers by to take? They might be cheeky enough to look in your window but not actually knock on your door so a leaflet would sort of give them permission. Sounds good though if you can get sales!
