I make vintage cake stands, am looking for quality christmas fairs to do.

stitchthis · 18/09/2011 22:03

CherryMonster · 19/09/2011 08:59

A MN-dominated craft fair. I would come to Cheltenham for that (not organised enough to sell stuff, I work FT and can only just keep up with things that I need to make for free Grin, but I would love to see what you all do). Let us know, CherryMonster.

CherryMonster · 19/09/2011 10:09

will do stealth, i am going to the venue after i take my monster daughter to her hospital appointment. she is currently on the stairs complaining loudly about having to put all the shoes back in the shoe box after throwing them down the stairs when she was trying to look for her boots.

I have to admit I don't know how to contact you directly on here but if you tell me then I will do!

stitchthis · 19/09/2011 18:03

Will consult with the covern knitting club and get back to you

Lesterlassone · 19/09/2011 20:24

Hi - I think I've privately messaged you as well as this! Have another question - does baking count as "crafty"? Have friend who makes jams & chutneys and mini christmas cakes.

Final question is from another friend who makes lovely ear-rings and necklaces - does this fit the bill?

CherryMonster · 20/09/2011 16:59

hi lester, have replied to your pm, jams and cakes are perfect. already have one jewellery maker (me) and want to get a diversity of crafts if possible, but will keep your friend in mind too x

Would love to but there is no way I could make enough stock in time. Will keep an eye out for further details.

CherryMonster · 20/09/2011 23:47

what do you do dilly? i have a few friends who are in a similar situation, how would you feel about a mixed crafts table?

OP posts:
DillyTante · 21/09/2011 19:22

Crochet mainly. I'd probably knock up some fingerless gloves and kids toys. Have been thinking of selling for a while but thought I'd need a while to get some stock. Might consider a share. What's the deal, buy a table or percentage of takings?

stitchthis · 21/09/2011 20:51

Vintage fabric????? Haberdashery??????

stealthsquiggle · 21/09/2011 20:53

vintage fabric? really?

CherryMonster · 22/09/2011 07:58

yes stitch, a vintage fabric stall sounds good to me. i think the deal will be to buy a table but not totally worked that out yet

OP posts:
stitchthis · 22/09/2011 08:57

If the price is right I think I'm in

CherryMonster · 22/09/2011 09:14

i dont expect it will be a fortune. am thinking i will probably charge £10-15 for a table, but thats not set in stone yet. am going to look at the venue next week so will have more details then x

OP posts:
stitchthis · 22/09/2011 11:51

CherryMonster · 22/09/2011 13:21
