Where can I buy jute/hessian/burlap type material

Have also posted this in Christmas.

Pondering on using this type of material to either make some decorations (ie. stockings, tree decorations, bows etc.) or to fashion into some packaging for jars, boxes and the like. Only fabric shop I've been in so far is John Lewis and they didn't have any. Anyone got any ideas where I can get hold of it. Would love to be able to actually see and feel it before I purchase but if online is easier and cheaper then I could risk a small purchase Smile

Yes, garden centre worth a try - ours has a got a bit of a crafty bit in it anyway so can kill two birds.

John Lewis or any upholstery shop should be able to help as all of these are used in the construction of chairs etc

I have a local shop that sells it by the metro if you are really stuck, and I have a few scraps 20cm square that I can just post to you if you like
