The Wizard

Anyone heard of this, it's a sizzix with a difference. It embosses your shapes and you can used virtually any die in it. I have found it on a US site for $129.99. Apparently it's gonna surpass the Big Shot.

Nooooooo - don't confuse me know when I have already written SIZZIX on my list to Santa !

It's all going pear shaped. Everyone has now realised that die cutters are 'out there' and this wizard malarky can use any die. I am sweating now as I don't know what to do.

Big shot available here from about 17th January. It's wider than original sizzix so you can put a card in a cut an aperture. However you can only put a C6 card in so TBH, I would use a ruler and a craft knife.

Mind you WHIZZ it's got your moniker on it, Wizard, get it?

I've got the wizard it's great for embossing you can use your sizzix original dies and it take a piece of A4 card I got mine from the states for my birthday July overall cost plus delivery was about £90.00 might have been a little under it took a week to be delivered. I think my DH got it from thiscompany
But if it was a choice between the wizard & the big shot I'd go for the Big Shot.
My craft shop is trying her hardest to get me one for Christmas.

Thanks for that Carolinett. I was extremely confused as I just don't know what to buy anymore. Will prob buy sizzix from ebay.

If you can wait and can afford it(I know it a killer)and it's a lot of money, I've heard that the big shot comes with a converter and it's all singing all dancing, and worth waiting for, it does everything the sizzix and wizard can do.

UCM - look for the £39 one I have just got - there are others !
