hello crafty people. its that time of year in our house where i go to WHsmith and buy glitter and nick white paper from the printer at work.

we have the dining room as the room where we make our decorations.

this is much fun as i MAKE my children do it all teenage or prepubescent they would rather shoot people on the playstation. or msn for hours.

so was wondering have you any simple crafty dec ideas?

i do the simple snowflake - add glitter - aahang from ceiling on different length shiny string.

i do the crepe paper - cut 1.5 inch of either end of crepe paper roll - cellotape at right angle and cross over top to bottom left to right til it looks at pretty

i do the same as above but twist it and hang.

any more ideas for the crafty f*ckwits of the world like me

ta

Last year I cut out loads of cardboard stars, covered them with aluminium foil and hung them all from the ceiling.

GingerBearingGifts · 09/12/2005 00:02

Don't forget to ask a grown-up to help you with the stapler.

Go to poundland, buy a load of cheap decorations, lock yourself in the dining room for a few hourswith foil, paper etc etc and a bottle of wine or 3, unwrap the decorations and pretend you made them.

And drink the wine, obviously.
