For what purpose? Ds1 has a drawstring PE bag and it was from the shop that does all the school uniforms for about £3 or £4

I am making "Welcome Bags" for new starters that I will be childminding. To hold cup, teddy, toothbrush, notebook etc

Would like them to be personalisable (maybe with fabric paints?) or just by colour

Well they would work.

Also Letterbox do ones that you can have the name on but I don't think they are cheap. The school shop I got ds's from does red, green, navy and I'm sure you could use fabric paint on them.

I have knitted several using odds of wool. Very simple, with felt lettering stitched on the front. I sold some to be used as little plimsol bags.

I think I have a picture some where if you were interested pecka.
