Anyone willing to make me a tipi for xmas...

just wondered if any crafty MNers would be willing to make me a tipi for xmas for 5 yr old girl and how much would you charge.

I have seen them on internet ranging from £60 to £500 so just wondered if anyone with experience of making them could advice me on how practical and affordable they are to make and if this is a reasonable request, I have no sewing skills at all.

I plan on making one with broom poles and old curtains. Once I've got around to it, I'll let you know!

I think Ikea used to have an online pattern. Very easy to make.

I've been told they had them on special in Asda for £5, I was going to try and look to see if they were any good... even if they could be used as a base to be 'embellished'!

this has a really easy pattern in it. took me 3 hours .

This is the Ikea one, and yes you do need a sewing machine (or a lot of patience to sew by hand)
