Anyone know where I might find a non-flouncy sewing pattern for a smock type top?

I fancy making a cotton smock type top, something White Stuff-esque like this that I can layer with a long sleeve jersey top underneath. Anyone know where I might find any patterns like this - whenever I look in pattern catalogues I only seem to find things with too many flounces and frills.

Could you adapt this one?

thanks pidjin - that's definitely a possibility. I'll have to figure out if it'll work in cotton rather than jersey. Picking up some more inspiration from the other Burda Style projects as well, thanks!

Maybe leave a notch at the back with a button as cotton has less stretch than jersey? Or use a cotton jersey, my local shop has some lovely ones and they're not as awful to sew as the man-made fibre ones
