Anyone know where I might find a non-flouncy sewing pattern for a smock type top?

I fancy making a cotton smock type top, something White Stuff-esque like this that I can layer with a long sleeve jersey top underneath. Anyone know where I might find any patterns like this - whenever I look in pattern catalogues I only seem to find things with too many flounces and frills.

Could you adapt this one?

thanks pidjin - that's definitely a possibility. I'll have to figure out if it'll work in cotton rather than jersey. Picking up some more inspiration from the other Burda Style projects as well, thanks!

Burda is awesome!

Maybe leave a notch at the back with a button as cotton has less stretch than jersey? Or use a cotton jersey, my local shop has some lovely ones and they're not as awful to sew as the man-made fibre ones Wink
