Embroided pattern coming loose on soft toy.

Hello! My DS has a soft toy of Fillmore from Cars from The Disney Store (This one) and it has a lot of embroided patterns on it. One stitch on one of the embroided patterns is coming loose, which is getting on DS's nerves!
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to tighten it!? I've tried to push it back in with a needle but am failing!

bar using a needle & similar coloured cotton to try & catch it & tug it back into place I'm sorry not much help - does it look like you can get away with trimming it without causing it all to unravel ??
