Anyone taking part this year. I haven't done it before but it looks easy enough. www.ageuk.org.uk/get-involved/.../get-knitting-for-the-big-knit/

I looked at the Innocent website in the hope of finding crochet instructions but there'd weren't any :(

If the hats are 28 stitches and 16 knitted rows, would it be the same for crochet?

Elk · 31/07/2011 18:11

I don't know anything about crochet. The knitted instruction say the finished 'hat' when flat is 5 to 7cm across and about 3cm high, if that helps.

Hi there - for some reason that link won't work - could you re-post it if possible? Thanks Grin

fab - thanks - the knitting starts today...!

I have knitted 8 so far, am hoping to do at least 20.

Am not very good at making animals etc, although I have managed a lion. Mine are mainly stripey. I have got lots of odds and ends of DK so this is a great project to use them up!
