cork mat thingy to put tile into?

Does anyone know where to get them? I have one from Fired Earth from years ago but they don't do them anymore. It's square, made from cork, and has a recessed square inside where you put a ceramic tile, to make a mat/ teapot stand etc. I have googled but not really sure even what to call it. I have found sites selling ready done ones but I just want the blanks.

buy cheap cork mats from ikea and cut to size? you could glue the 'frame' bit to a square backing. does that help? :)
