Knitting pattern for 3yr old in Chunky Knit wool?

Hi
I've got about 8 50g balls of Chunky Knit pure new wool left over and was thinking I could knit something for my toddler. There's no stitch guide on the label but it uses 5.5- 6mm needles.
Can anyone suggest a pattern? I was thinking of a nice cardy with a collar?
Thanks

Don't know how to add links yet, but this website has lots of nice free patterns: cache.lionbrand.com/

Try Ravelry (ravelry.com) You need to register, but it is free and then you can search by yarn and pattern and child.

There's a nice Debbie Bliss pattern (in her 9-5 book) for a long line waistcoat/gilet which I think uses about 9 balls. You don't tend to find many children's chunky patterns (and I know, because I have hunted!) - largely because it's such bulky yarn it's hard to make small garments that aren't too stiff or swamp the child.
