is it me or do scrapbooking albums seem to be expensive to buy ?

just becoming interested but cannot find any 12x12 albums under £20.

or do you think this price, up to £25 is reasonable for such a product.?

I try to avoid the proper scrapbook ones as many can look a bit twee/naff - and over priced IMHO for what they are. I am not a fan of those handmade paper covers with stuck on dried flowers on the front! Prefer mine to be a bit more contemporary and original so avoid shops that stock special little stickers and labels etc for scrapbooking...
I bought some lovely large craft books with thick black paper and straightforward plain cardboard brown cover from John Lewis a while back for no more than £15 each - and they are really big. The width of each page is almost the length of A4 IYKWIM. They are not standard paper size.
I would look around. Even some of the more arty photo albums with no pockets are cheaper and look nicer. Does it have to be 12 x 12?

i've actually just found in a catalogue i received recently simple plain coloured scrapbook album in either plain cotton front cover or mulberry paper front cover just 11.99.
i know where i'm going !!

craft creations are fab and they have some nice backing papers that are very reasonably priced.

I got plain scrapbook albums 12 by 12 for 9.00 in tk maxx they're fab! Had a whole range of colours in just plain fabric style covers.

just found out that whsmith sell moments scrapbooks , as in craftcreations.com, for 9.99 !!!

and our local store today have 20per cent off everything after 12.00 pm.
