I would love to be able to recreate my own (probably inferior) version of that Well Known Candle, that is truly gorgeous, full of essential oils, but much £. I seem to be having problems getting the wick to stay upright. Unsure whether this is to do with high level of essential oil, or there is a better, stiffer wick I could buy somewhere. Any thoughts appreciated...

I haven't tried this but read this just a few weeks ago- before putting wick in dip it in the melted wax and leave to dry ( could do a few coats I suppose) and this stiffens it.

Don't know how good an idea it is but it's all I got. Grin

Wrap the wick around a pencil and balance the pencil across the top of your container, then trim the wick once it's dry.
