that there is a new store opened near to us....THE WORKS!!!!!!!
Im off there tonight to go and have a look as most of you sing their praises...its situated right next door to The Paper Mill shop...I feel a spending spree coming on

The Works is really good

I managed to get dd one of those scrapbook kits from ELC and she loves it

We don't have anything- apart for a tiny little shop that sells standard stuff. Anything different I want i have to get off Ebay or ask Yorkie to get it for me and post it on

Not at all impressed with The Works...maybe its me but the card stock was very poor quality and the bags of craft bits were naff. There was a small section for arts and crafts shoved right at the back of the store and if I had blinked I woud have missed it. It wasnt worth the hour drive to get there...soooo glad paper mill is situated next door because I went in there and stocked myself up with enough card boxes to last me for a year.

Works only good for the odd thing really. 6 sheets of silver/gold A4 card for a pound. Now that is good.

Very occasionally they have something blinding.

Mrs F, Yes darling I did, that was an occasionally blinding thing. I went back and bought myself one on tuesday.
