Bargain metallic and holographic card.

5 A4 sheets metallic or 4 sheets holographic, assorted colours - £1.98.

i bought a gorgeous pack containing a sheet off hanmade 'mulberry' type paper embossed with loads of silver stars (very raised...very tactile!...and 3 meteres of silver ribbon......for something like £2.50.....the paper is almost the size of 6 X A4 sheets...and the ribbon would cost easily that alone...so am pleased!
(Hmmmmmm...wot shall i do with the ribbon!!! add it to my stack!!!)

really? Were these with the Christmas stock or are your ASDA's branching out into crafty b&p's. I'll definately be looking out when I next do my shopping.

funny really...i feel like i have a 'craft radar' on my head WHATEVER shop i'm in...and i scan possible things that i will buuy after xmas when they reduce it...to sabotage and use for my cards!!! (you know...shop 'handmade cards' that have lovely embellisments...ribbons (OOOOH!) ETC...BUT ARE PRETTY NAFF...BUT WOULD TAKE APART QUITE NICELY!!!)

Is ribbon your new obsession by any chance, MrsF?

Thanks for these tips. Ds1 is very into arty and crafty stuff at the moment. I've got some stuff from The Works but could always do with more ideas.

ok, what is The Works. I've just tried to google it and you can imagine the responses!

The Works is a kind of discount bookstore. They sell just about everything though: books, stationery, games, art etc. There seems to be one in most towns.

Oh1 ans a gorgeous stationery STORAGE carosel...it has 7 sections and spins round!!!!
...it's for me...i am letting the boys have all the pens etc...but i want to STORAGE pot...it will house my most frequently used craft gle...scissors...knife.....ruler....etc....lovely!!!

The Tescos I go to is growing a great selection of crafty bits but not the ASDA's in my neighbourhood. It musn't be a superstore!!

oooh! and just wait till u see what lidl are doing from monday.....a (what looks very good) christmas craft pack....and 'just 4 me'...flat-pack postal cardboard boxes...just what i need for my 'teddy cards' that are 2 or 3" deep...and i have been struggling finding good 'smart' boxes...

they've also got a huge xmas decoration box- again card- where there is an inner tray that is segmented so you can store all the decorations carefully...individually....and then you put all the tinsel etc in the bigger box...placing the tray on top b4 you close it!!!!!

Ooooh, MrsF. You're just the person I need. Any ideas about where I can find a decent sized box (preferably with a few smaller compartments) to store ds1's craft stuff? For things like A4 paper and card, scissors, pens, sequins etc. It's all over the place atm.

Arrgghh! Meant to ask if you knew what other offers Lidl has next week, oh wise one.

I bought a pack of Chrismassy decs from Lidls yesterday for 3.99

I made 12 cards out of em. (Shhhhh don't tell anyone) but am selling for 2 quid each.

Once again, the works 6 sheets of gold/silver A4 paper 1.00. I buy a fivers worth every time I go in there.
