lots of people recommend ELC for children's cardmaking bits and pieces (including sets). I think Whizz is our resident jewellery expert.

There are loads of sites that sell card making kits....you could try chatterbox gifts as they have the popcorn bear card making set that is quite cute for girls of her age

I'm no expert, but Hobbycraft do a good range of basic kits for making bracelets & necklaces.
There are bound to be other on line places but hobbycraft tends to be my one stop shop at the mo !

I got the elc kits for myself a couple of years ago and was very disappointed with the quality of the card. Have they improved them since?

I haven't bought ELC card - only things like wobbly eyes & sequins, glitter glue.

ELC card is no where near thick enough for card making....ask UCM her mate "Dave" told her all about thickness Didnt he UCM????? titter titter titter
