Stamping help!

I am currently trying to add stamping to a waxy (well 100 waxy) gift bags, but the ink keeps smudging. Am I using the wrong ink? Do it need to put something over the top? Help!

If the surface is quite "shiny" & the ink never dries (as opposed to taking a while) then it's probably the wrong ink pad - you need something like Stazon. Or you could try using embossing powder & heat embossing to set the image (not sure what the heat might do if they are "waxy" though, so Stazon is probably your best bet)
