Where can I get some nice canvas or linen from please?

I have booked myself on a bag making course and the course requirements arrived today. I need some canvas or linen which was a bit of a surprise as I envisaged something made of fat quarters but no matter. I am sure it will be good and a lot toughter than one made from cotton.

The problem is that I have to have it by Saturday. It is all a bit rushed as the college thought they didn't have enough bookings to run the course and then they did, hence the lack of warning.

At a pinch can you use tea towels? Could be quite cool....

Thank you for the suggestions. I will get shopping! I will also get some tea towels just in case it doesn't turn up in time - mine are all old and holey anyway so even if I don't use them they won't be wasted.

Or I could make 2 bags!!

I haven't checked if she has canvas etc, but this UK handbag supplies site does next day delivery.

Thank you for the link. They do sell fabric but they seem to be sold out of the ones I like which is a shame. I have bookmarked it for future perusal though!
