Best pens for fabric?

I'm planning a signature quilt for my niece's wedding and need a good fabric paint pen to give to the contributors - it needs to be permanent, not too pricey, ideally water fast and not gloopy. Any ideas?

Berol fabric pens are by far the best I have used, like a writing sized fibre tip

I bought a pack of Giotto Decor Textile Pens from Amazon. My kids used them when they were making their own patchwork cushions. The pens worked very well and the colours were vivid. See the finished item here
