stamping help please

what is the difference between stamp pad dye and stamp pad pigment? am about to put in an order with hobbicraft and i have to say their website is rubbish!

any help gratefully received

You use pigment when you are embossing, and dye for ordinary rubber stamping

Pigment can be used for embossing i think.

DONt buy whispers ink pads.....they are crap....look for versa mark pads.

thanks very much for that, have never used stamps before so dont really know anything about best products. am thinking about doing xmas wrapping paper with kids, they are 6 and 5 so should be fun!
