HandMade TEDDY BEARS

My mum makes GORGEOUS bears....like popcorn bear etc....last year we sold them on Ebay...but wondered if anyone has a better idea... online???

I know we have our cardmaking gallery...not sure if Bears would belong there! Is there another site that i could post pictures of them on???

I've been round mum's 2nite and come back with several 'shaggy' old fashioned looking bears....and i don't know what to do with them!!!

She takes some to a local fabric shop...but it's tucked away...and doesn't get much passing trade....just hoping i can find a quick and easy alternative (like our card gallery) to ebay...as ebay is very time consuming.

I'd rather spend my time crafting than grafting!

Can u put a few items for sale on Mumsnet....or is that not permitted?

Why not open your own yahoo gallery and ask MN Towers if you can advertise them in the small business section. that way you could link your advert to the gallery with the bears in.

For sale board is for non business sales and is supposed to be for unwanted goodies that are for sale, although MN towers did grant us permission to post our advert for the christmas card gallery there.

that's a good idea...from what i can see it cost £50 for 90 days.... in which time hopefully you get enough 'word of mouth' recommendations...so you don't have to keep advertising???

i think last year...on ebay mum paid £25 fees.... for 1 month of selling....so though £50 sounds alot for little ol' me.... i could advertise ALL my craft items on there...not just cards!

so that is a good idea!
