I have bought the dye to colour eggs but hadn't considered how I was going to display them.

How can I make easy nests?

hay/straw?
raffia?
paper shreddings from the shredder?

I could do paper shreds - would I just scrunch them all together?

make a small box to contain the shreddings in first otherwise the shreddings fall open and the egg slops about.

these boxes are easy enough to do. I've done them with any card and some thicker papers too. brown parcel paper was quite good and would look suitably nest like, or just go for bright and cheerful. you could also shred any odd wrapping paper offcuts you may have hanging around as well.
