I don't personally know of any as I'm arsty & do them freehand - others might

but do you not have, or can get hold of any moulds from playdoh, moonsand or similar??, if so these could be a good starting point for you -

so long as they are washed & scalded thoroughly to make sure they are clean of course - I've used DDs moulds for all sorts of things, including buscuits

There are sections on figures in a few of the cake books I have, which I sometimes use for reference.

Copying a toy figure works well too - DS's playmobil animals quite often 'sit' for me as models when I want something to refer to.

this book looks like it could be good - or check out your library and see what they have? Most websites I have come across are basically trying to sell the books, so don't go into too much detail.

i was planning on cheating with mine by constructing the fire engine using a couple of shop bought battenburgs Shock one for the back of the truck and one that has had a bit cut off standing on its end for the cab, so it is slightly higher than the back of the truck, and then covering it with red icing.

i am hoping to bake a sponge cake for it to sit on, so not completely a bad mummy cheating!
