Boys Easter Hat Ideas

Sorry if this has already been done! I'm so stuck for ideas, any help/inspiration would be much appreciated. DS is 5yrs old.

My friend made an excellent hat for her DS out of a shoebox covered in green crepe paper, made football pitch on top and glued 2 teams of little Easter chicks to playing football I thought that was a great idea

A mum I know is doing an Aussie-style cork hat but with hanging chicks instead of the usual corks from the brim.

Thank you ladies for your ideas. Love them both and will help me decide what to do.

I've got 4 days notice to make one for ds who is 4 (typical! I'm sure our school PTA think we are all sitting at home drinking coffee waiting for the next event to bake or make for, grrr)
ds is going to have a go at making his own from what we have at home (there is an 'all my own work' category ) - I think I'll help him make a hat band and then he can cut out egg shapes from paper (I have some marbelling inks at home which he likes using), decorate them and stick them on or make bunny ears or put a nest on top and add chicks (thinking of a hat band with a paper bowl inside and I'm sure I have some chicks left over from last year or maybe he could make some eggs).. no idea - he'll probably have some very fixed idea about what he 'needs' to have!
