What is the secret of good stamping ??
Whenever I try, either the image isn't even or I manage to get the outer edge of the stamp block inked too. Disaster !

Pixiefish · 26/10/2005 18:21

Try usingt he ink onto the stamp rather than the other way round. That way you can see where you're inking.

MMMM...YG- feel a spending spree coming on tomorrow.....

I bought some see d stamps a month ago and they are brilliant.

They don't take up much space as they are stored in a cd case and you just get out the one you want and reuse a stamping block.

The best bit is you can see where you are stamping, so I have been brave enough to stamp directly onto the card- very useful for phrases.

I also use a cotton bud to go around the outside ofthe stamp and take off any extra ink before I go for it.

hi all!!
YG -- please do not make me spend more, i think i'm a shopoholic.... infact scrap the think

Whizzz -- you can cut the edges of stamps off with craft knife, or even cut all the excess rubber off. If you look at the more expensive stamps you'll see them cut in this way.
