DD's nursery is having a fancy dress Halloween party and I am not sure what costume to make for her.

Plus will she get scared?

I dont even know how to explain Halloween to her.

What costume do you suggest?

Remember make it cheap

ASDA's cheap . I don't think that halloween needs to be scary. My dd has a princess / fairy type dress for her fancy dress party. We don't 'celebrate' Halloween but enjoy the excuse for a party!!!

dd's going to be a eith. I found a balck bit of material which will be a cloak, she'll wear purple underneath, face will be green eyeshadow (you can crumble it up and mix it with baby oil for greater effect) and hat will be made from a cereal packet. If I'm feeling really energetic we might collect some sticks for a broom.

Reduced Halloween stuff at Claire's Accessories - masks, etc.

Could she be a white witch if you don't want to do scary stuff? Fairy costume would do.

sorry my typing's gone wonky. she's going to be a witch, not an eith. and she'll wear a cloak.

i doubt she'll get scared.

I've been wondering what an eith was - I thought some ancient pagan creature perhaps!
