DIY Store for Cardmaking B&P's

Someone from another forum I lurk on made some lovely cards with the B&P's she had bought from B&Q!!!
I went in today with DH and had a look and bought a pack of 110 Christmas trees for less than £2.50!!
They are wooden and covered in green glitter paint.

I copied her design as its soooo easy to make and thought I'd share it with those who want to have a go at making their own cards this year.

I cut a piece of gold crepe paper and then a slightly smaller piece of red card.
Added a small gold star to the top of the tree and added some circular gems to decorate the tree.
Used DS tape to stick it all down onto a card that I had printed the greetings on by using the printer.
Takes less than 10 mins to make each card and costs around 45p to make.
Both the Ds's have had a go tonight making a few each. With the half term holiday here and the weather looking grim, I am sure they will have plenty of time to make their own cards this year.

DS1 made this card earlier tonight using the trees from B&Q

I've just got a copy of Makro Mail - they have
A Kanban craft box set for 9.99 was 19.99 (cards, papers, peel offs, etc)
Blank cards & envelopes (dark colours or pastel) for 4.99 can't see how many but it looks a lot!
20 pieces A4 pearl or plain card 2.99
6 pieces A4 holographic card 2.99
6 sheets peel offs 2.99
Fiskars shapecutter starter set 19.99
Fiskars mini shape boss starter set 9.99

you have to add VAT onto those but more or less 25 - 50% off retail prices or so it says.

I went to focus last week to check out tool boxes! I bought their 4 tray organiser case (£10), it is a black box with a handle and has 4 separate plastic cases to pull out. You can make different sized sections. I then spent Tuesday night organising! So I have a girly one, a Christmas one, a baby/child one and a general one.

Can't see them on the website so can't post a link but it's dead good!!

I got some B&Q B&P - well, it being B&Q I could send DH while I was at work

Aren't they nice !!
Got the trees & the stars !
Great tip JM!
