A large bag of 'scraps' of handmade paper £2.99 from Craftworld, Horwich nr Bolton.
It makes a very nice feathery edge & makes lovely backing for my jewellery cards - wish I'd bought 2 bags !

PS: wasn't very impressed with Craftworld for much else!

I bought 3 big xmas stamps from paper mill for £1.99 today, thought that was a bargin!

Some siisix balloons and a sissix elephant... more importantly a personal invite to the hop's (officially full) card clu, and weekly art lessons for Sam on a Saturday morning

And I didn't even know the place was there!

It was payday for me yesterday so I raided the town and came home with nothing at all for cardmaking

So Ive just been online and done a bit!!!!

It was a quick trip to Broughton a break from making Christmas cards I'm slowly begining to dislike Christmas cards 40 more to make .

Got a pack of 12 big glitter glue pens in Wilkinson's for £1.29. Fantastic colours including purple and pale pink.

Also can get cheap glitter glue pens in Poundland.

whizzz....that is really near me. i can get you another bag if you like. craftworld is OK if you live close enough to pop in regualrly. did you try their coffe shop? lovely cake.
if you come agian there is another craft shop in horwich itself called Crafty Monkey, worth a visit whilst you are so near to it.
did you go to hobbycrfat too? then there is the garden centre Steven H Smith near Radcliffe.

Hi AQ - no we didn't go anywhere else - DH wanted to go to the Scan PC place - so I went to Craftworld whilst he was there.
I've not seen the paper packs anywhere else - so I might take you up on the offer if I need some more, thanks. Its proved very useful as backing for the jewellery cards !

It was last weekend that we went AQ. DH likes Scan because its cheap. It is full of geeks though (obviously apart from our respective DHs!).

Asda - 20m of elastic gift tie in gold or red for 94p

Tesco :-

12 sheets of metallic card 21 x 15cm - gold, silver, red & green for about £1

4 rolls of metallic mesh for about £2 - no idea what I'm going to do with it yet - but it looks funky
