Storing Kids craft supplies

I'm setting up crafting supplies for my six year old for her birthday...how is the best way you've found to store all the bits and bobs? In a crafting caddy? In separate containers? Or do you have another way that works for you?

I use a storage system from Ikea and then have different 'areas' for all the different types of craft, i.e one area for paper, card, tissue, one area for stickers, glue, glitter and so on.....I brought a big folder from GLTC to keep art work in for each child and go through it about three times a year and put the nice pieces of work either in frames or a nice book.
