Click onthe link on the email & add your details. Looks like its a separate group from the MN Gallery
Use your own name rather than Mumsnetters
(I think !)

There's some really fab xmas cards ,I've just been to have a look.
Dingle I love your gingham xmas tree big card just my sort of thing.
JM you have some really fab cards there,I loved the Santa face one it's gorgeous.
Whizz I love the tree one with the lovely earrings on it it looks so xmassy.
I should put some of mine up too.

Dingle · 19/10/2005 15:45

I loved JMs Santa with the big woolly beard. I have found some wonderful greyish marl, fluffy wool that I entend to try out on my cards..I have an idea of how to use it but haven't made the trial design yet....

I am planning to have an evening of cardmaking. Had a stressful day and a large glass of wine and my crafty goodies is just what I need to cheer me up.

Hi folks, just been adding some xmas cards to the album.

Coral, hope you see this,I loved your beaded snowflake. How did you make it I'd love to make some too if it's not top secret?

In the new complete card making handbook that's just out at WHSmith it shows you how to make a beaded angel.I've just got to have a go at that

Your cards are lovely and very original..

jayzmummy · 27/10/2005 20:41

Love the cards Layla....gingerbread is a real cutie{smile]

coral · 27/10/2005 22:35

Thank you for the compliments Layla. I have picked up so many useful tips here that I am only too happy to share some of mine with someone else! It's a bit involved to try and explain how to make the snowflake but I will see if I can try and dig out the instructions I originally used and send them to you along with a beaded one as I always find it easier to work on something if you can see the finished product!

I have been working on some other beaded cards which I have put in the gallery. If you want the star as well let me know and I will dig that one out too. They are actually really easy to make once you have the hang of it!

I'm interested in the angel you have seen - is it anything like the one I have made? Not sure about how this card has turned out - I feel that it is a bit too busy at the moment. I will definitely have to find a Smiths and take a peek at the card in the book to see what they have done.

Coral

PS - Lovely selection of cards - I love the beaded felt house.

Hi Coral, thanks so much do you mean e mail them or send it through the post? You can get hold of me on the group I think my address is [email protected]'s on there though not sure if i got it right.

I've just seen your angel it's really gorgeous and it is the same one as in the book.I'd love the star one too it's lovely.I think your card isn't too fussy it looks great.

I'm trying to get lots of cards together at the moment as I have a card stall at the school next Wed night. But I've only made about 16 xmas ones as they took me so long to make some of them.I just can't seem to find any quick ones to make.I've designed all new xmas ones this year not one of them is the same as last years.
