striped hat and scarf patterns

My lovely granny is going to knit the above for DP because I hate all his vile acrylic stuff. She has found some Rowan wool but we need a pattern. Does anyone have any ideas...

Are you on Ravelry.com? I have no doubt there will be loads of free hat patterns on there. The site is free to join so no harm done if you can't find anything.

Alternatively, I have a pattern book from Sublime that has accessories in it like hats, gloves, scarfs etc. Some of those are striped. The patterns are for their DK wool but it won't make any difference if you use Rowan instead (assuming it is DK of course). It is this one although the picture isn't very good.
