I have given most of dd baby clothes away. But have held on to a few wee things to keep. I have some nice little patterned babygrows and vests that I'd love to use in some way to keep the memory of them but would like maybe to didplay them/make something from them. I'd thought about a mini patchwork blanket but dont think the stretchy fabric would lend itself to this. Any good ideas?

Iron interfacing to the stretch fabric before you start to hold it firm?

I have seen bunting made from old baby clothes (can't remember where) which I thought was a lovely idea as it could come out for every family celebration.

I have just seen a lovely quilted cushion made mosaic style in Quilters Home magazine. Going to imagemaker a photo of Bea onto some plain cotton, then snip up some of her cotton babygro's and get started. Lots of small rectangles sewn onto cotton leaving a gap around the edge showing through to the cotton beneath.

Is that using a machine kellestar? Or by hand, I've never quilted before.

I am thinking of making a rag rug with mine, but then I have lots of babygros as had twins.

However given the twins I am not sure when this rug is ever going to materialise Hmm

Ok have made a start. I couldnt face quilting as I've so many unfinished projects I wanted something handy. I've cut out lots of basic different sized flower shapes from the babygrows, and also any nice little embroidery details from them. I bought a plain pink fleece blanket for £4. I'm going to do applique with 2 or 3 layers flowers on blanket. That sounds easy enough?
