Silly sewing machine question

(from a beginner, obviously): are bobbins just bobbins and interchangeable or do I need to buy specific ones to fit my machine?

I think they are interchangeable - certainly for a large number of machines anyway. I bought some off ebay without having to worry about the make of my machine. I could also use them at the school where I did an evening class.

Some are different sizes so check before you buy.

There are a few different sorts so you do have to get the right one for your machine.

Try the local market....there is a cheapy indoor market that sells individual pieces.

My machine's Janome too. A friend gave me a bagful,assorted and all ages, and I was surprised that they all fit as not all same brand.

How many do you require? Could send some to you.
