Anyone made a fruit bouquet?

I'm going to attempt a fruit bouquet for a friend's 50th birthday, instead of a cake. Has anyone made one and do you know how far in advance I can make it? Will it survive 24-36 hours?

Thank you

Never made one but I have received one, my thoughts...

Don't make it too big, needs to fit in the fridge really for any longevity.

Mine had some chocolate dipped strawberries amongst the fruit and they were a scrummy contrast to the rest of the fruit.

Would definitely last atleast a couple of days from being made to being consumed. The melon went a little dry looking on the outside but tasted perfectly fine.

Such a great idea, I've never eaten so much fruit in my life and it was delicious!

Thanks for your thoughts. So if I made it on Saturday it would be okay to give as a gift on Sunday?

I would have thought so, definitely.
