Selling things you make at craft fairs?

Considering this as a way of making a bit of extra money. Not expecting it to pay the rent!

Anyone dp this? How successful is it? What sort of things sell best?

I can knit, sew, and we have just bought an electric jigsaw which I am thinking about using to make some wooden dolls.

I have just set up a folksy shop and a webpage and have done 1 craft fair and about to do another one. Not made much money yet, but I do enjoy making things and I really enjoyed the craft fair, but it is quite hard to keep getting noticed. This is something for me though, I am in control of it, and I don't have anyone telling me when or how to do something! If you are interested my website is milliemoments.wix.com/milliemoments. Hi have you had any sales on etsy yet? I set up a web site babybints.com but don't know how to get traffic & sales etc i also have an etsy so. Not much luck with it
