How to frame finished cross-stitch?

I've just finished my first cross-stitch :) and now want to frame it. It's the first time I will have tried anything like this so would appreciate any hints and tips please.

I've looked online so have a basic idea of what I need to do, I've bought the non-acid foam core board, but I'm not sure how to fix that onto the back of the frame...

Good luck, I can't offer any advise though. I took my last cross stitch to be framed at a professional framers Blush. It has been done really nicely though and is evenly stretched so it looks great.

Thanks blametheparents, I had thought of that but when I enquired at our local framers they said it would cost about £70.00, which is too expensive for me...

No idea but did notice on another thread (further up also about cross stitch) a company called Jolly Red was mentioned that offers a finishing service that might be more cost-effective.

Failing that hopefully this "bump" will help.
