I'm luxuriating with this book. What did you get that has got your (creative) juices going?!

I got some interchangeable circular knitting needles with 3 sizes of needle and 3 different lengths of cable. I was a bit worried the join might cause some snagging but they seem to be pretty smooth so they will probably be great.

I got 2 books as well - Luxury one skein wonders which is great. I am itching to do quite a few of these.

I also got 101 Designer yarn Stash wonders which is nice but not as good as the other one.

I just need to finish the projects I am working on at the moment!

I got a book about how to make beads from Fimo, and it is fabulous,it shows you how to make fake amber, marble, wood and metal beads too. Also got a huge pack of Fimo and some tools,so can't wait to have a go.

I also got this book from my wishlist because I want to try something new - I've ordered my wool from ebay and can't wait to start!

A ball winder and a swift! I am very excited as have wanted them for ages but I haven't had a chance to play with them yet.

I also got a kit to knit a Fair Isle hat so I'm working on that at the moment.

Also Sock Yarn One Skein Wonders

Bornto - is your book any good? It is in the same series as my two and I had my eye on yours too.

teenyweenytadpole · 28/12/2010 12:43

Didn't receive any but am hankering after buying a Debbie Bliss book or two for myself...that one skein book looks lovely....jealous!

BornToFolk · 28/12/2010 19:05

Yes, it's very good. Lots of gloves, mittens and bags. Some really nice baby things, and soome great socks too. I wasn't expecting sock patterns but there are a few really good ones. I would recommend it if you have a large sock yarn stash like me
