Making masks

I have to make 2 masks for friday evening party. Help! I only know paper and papier mache method, but takes too long.

I assume you mean those Masquerade masks which cover the eyes?

You don't need papier mache...you can mak a mask with anything. Lacey fabric stiffened with starch will make a Lady Ga Ga type mask...a cardboard eye mask on a stick and covered in sequins and feathers is easy..give us a bit more info..what is it for? And what do you have?

Its just a fund raising party with live band. I am not near big stores but can probably get fabrics beads etc. I have paint, glue, card.
I think a mask that covers eyes would be better as there will be eats/drinks and dancing.

Thank you so much Shanahan. I have managed to gather, feathers, sequins lacy stuff with stars. So should be able to do something.
