What would you do with all these old pillows and duvets?

I have lots of nasty old pillows and duvets. Some are feather some are hollow fibre. We've just finally replaced them, but before I throuw the old ones out I thought I'd ask you crafty ladies if I should be doing something a bit more inspired!

All suggestions very welcome.

clean them then donate them to your local Homeless centre.

It is December and its bloody freezing out there!

Oh dear, now I feel terrible that I didn't think of that in the first place.

I blame Kirsty Allsop.

And now you can do your Good Deed For The Day and polish your halo!

if you have a local animal sanctuary, they will gladly take them off you & make good use of them in their infirmary - I've just handed over a sack of similar stuff to the Cats Protection League, the Lady tells me they are always desperate for more

Blush mine was towels & old terry nappies, so no good for cold homeless people

PDSA will take anything towel like, great bedding for animals.

Also think about women's refuge's... and while I am at this, if you get any smellies that you do not like at Christmas, think about giving them to a women's refuge as very often these ladies leave their home without anything like this and we all know that sometimes a scented bath can make you feel a million dollars.

LatteLady, that is great advice. I am totally overrun with smellies and there's a woman's refuge up the road. I'll do that thanks.

And I'm going to take the duvet and pillows to the National Canine Defence League.

Thanks!
