Inn Keeper's Wife costume - where do I start?

I'm non-practical but willing since recently taking on the mantle of SAHM. Can anyone please advise on how I can make a costume by Friday for my 6YO?

Long plain dress, apron and head scarf.

We have been asked to bring in dressing gowns and tea towels for heads for all innkeepers and families, and shepherds.
