I want to make some aprons/coveralls for kids craft/cooking party to keep party clothes clean- I read somewhere that it's possible to make them out of cheap showercurtains, but don't know where to start- can anyone help?
I will also post this in parties' thread

Could you make a basic tabard shape - fold in half and attach ties on each side.pattern here

cut suitably sized squares, turn them so that a point is to the top and turn the top one over. Add fastenings at the side points and for the neck (probably ties with velcro if you are using plastic; et voila!

you could always use a binbag with a slit at the bottom to put their head through and maybe some ribbon or tinsel to gather them at the waist.

If a black bin bag is a little off for a cooking party, you could also use white swing bin bags.
