Kirsty's Handmade Home - a good thing?

I started off loving this programme and last series got all excited when quilting and knitting were covered but lately I've found myself wondering whether it's all a bit, well, 'breath-y' in a Nigella Lawson kind of way - as in 'wow, wow I can't believe I put a needle in fabric' sense. I'm probably being unfair but I was wondering what other crafty adicts thought...

Totally agree with everything said, it's very disappointing. I was however inspired to go and buy one of those cross stitch cushion kits after last week's episode. God knows when I'll ever find the time to actually do it .

Agree, it is odd how it has gone from a handmade programme to a doing up your house programme. Plus, it's just Kirsty saying: "Gosh I would LOVE to be able to carry out simple manual tasks, but luckily I have loads of dosh and can pay someone else thousands to do it for me!"

Poor Kirsty - I'm sure she means well but it does appear as they've got it wrong this time...Channel 4 take note!
