Kirsty's Handmade Home - a good thing?

I started off loving this programme and last series got all excited when quilting and knitting were covered but lately I've found myself wondering whether it's all a bit, well, 'breath-y' in a Nigella Lawson kind of way - as in 'wow, wow I can't believe I put a needle in fabric' sense. I'm probably being unfair but I was wondering what other crafty adicts thought...

Totally agree with everything said, it's very disappointing. I was however inspired to go and buy one of those cross stitch cushion kits after last week's episode. God knows when I'll ever find the time to actually do it Hmm.

Agree, it is odd how it has gone from a handmade programme to a doing up your house programme. Plus, it's just Kirsty saying: "Gosh I would LOVE to be able to carry out simple manual tasks, but luckily I have loads of dosh and can pay someone else thousands to do it for me!"

Poor Kirsty - I'm sure she means well but it does appear as they've got it wrong this time...Channel 4 take note!
