Hi all, I need to buy a good pair of fabric pinking shears - capable of cutting all types of fabric from fine silk lace to denim. I bought a Klieber pair on Ebay for £8 which seemed really good quality but they just mashed the fabric instead of cutting it. I don't really want to spend more than £10 if possible.

Thanks all.

I bought mine from John Lewis. they are very very good.

Unfortunately there is no JL near me - and I don't really want to spend £5 postage for a £10 item.

Are yours JL brand or a different make?

I've got Fiskars, they are a bit more expensive, but have lasted years.

Ikea do them for £5.99, haven't used mine in anger yet though but they feel heavy & substantial. If anyone see's left handed ones, I'd be grateful. MIL is after some Smile

I've seen left handed ones on Ebay. I'll have a look at the Fiskars ones, thanks.
