How can we display advent calendars at Xmas Fair

My DD's class at school are making advent calendars for sale at the Christmas Fair at the end of Nov. They will be A4 thin card, 25 of them.

I am racking my brains to think of a way of displaying them other than flat on a table, we could add hanging loops to them, but how to hang them, without spending much/any money on racks. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thank you.

Could you make a rack out of cardboard? Am thinking long thin triangle shape, calendars lean up against it. Would have to have lip at bottom to stop calendars slipping down. How about pegging them to said bit of cardboard?
Or, you know a picture frame has that thing at the back so you can prop it up if you don't want to hang it, something like that made of cardboard?
Or hang from say a bit of dowell, maybe cane that you use to prop up plants, then would need way to hang up cane....

Thank you, I think a combination of some flat and some propped up is the way to go, so the big cardboard rack with some on it and some in front would be a good way to go.

I was thinking about the dowelling idea, as you say it's working out how to prop up the dowelling. Anything we do will need to be fairly robust as the room is packed and the tables get jostled and knocked.

How about a length of string pinned horizontally along the wall behind your table and then attach the calendars to it with wooden pegs? The pegs can be painted or decorated as well, or

A length of 2" ribbon hung vertically. Then add an extra loop to the calenders which can be used to staple them to the ribbon.

Bamboo canes or 10mm dowel can be gaffa taped to the front legs of the table, this should give you enough support to hang a line between them or calendars from them.

That might be good, we have got some felt notice boards in the hall. I have got loads of curved bamboo plant supports in the garden shed, am thinking I could do something with these too. Thank you both for your ideas!

Is the fair in the school hall? - you could tie/peg them on to the PE wall bars

One of the teachers has said there are some upright book rests we could use, amd thinking if we cover the table in some nice white cloth or wtahever to overcome any slippage we should be there.

At the rate we're going we're not even going to have made them on time .
