Ive made up a couple of cards to submit to the carmaking comp....just a quick question for those in the know.

Do you have to send an envelope to???
Sounds silly but what on earth do they do with all the cards that are submitted?
Do they pass them on to a charity to be sold???
Thats why Im wondering if I should send the envelopes!!!!

some of the comps do ask for envelopes so they can raise money for charity. best to read the entry requirements for each comp some i saw ask for a SAE if you want to have them back.

Thanks Champs....it doesnt ask for an envelope and sadly the cards can not be returned....I would have liked to have kept the first card I entered into a comp as a memento.

Hi Jayzmummy, usually I put the envelope in too and the poly bag just to keep them nice and clean.I've never had any cards back from competitions only letters when I've included an SAE.I did put the envelopes in with this latest competition even though I reckoned they couldn't use the cards afterwards because we had to list our address on the back of the card.

Good luck with the competition. How many cards and which categories did you enter?

I've won a competition!!It was in cardmaking and papercraft to design a summer themed card.I got 2nd prize with quite a few other people as well. It's not in the magazine but it's in my album in the All New album it's the beach hut card.
