Sewing: Can anyone point me at a tea cosy tutorial?

I have the machine, the fabric and the enthusiasm...

Ideally I was hoping to find one of those fabulous photo tutorials on an Uber Crafter's blog (you know, the "and then I had a bit of ribbon left over so I whipped up an exact copy of the dress in miniature for dd's doll" sort of blogs, or "a much loved t-shirt had become too small so I snip snip snipped and suddenly it is an adorable shabby chic bunny rabbit soft toy in a ruffly waistcoat" - god I am in AWE of these women. Anyway...)

I would be pleased with any sort of pattern or tutorial for beginners. I recently did a sewing course - am a beginner. Thought a tea cosy would be a nice project.

Dont know of a tea cosy pattern but there is and extra to quilt's magazine this month that is an oven mitt. Not looked at it yet but their instructions are usually good.

Will post a link if you are interested.
