Have a beautiful pattern for a knitted dress that I want to make for DD for Xmas Day. The pattern specifies Filatura di Crosa yarn in bright, jewel colours, but I just can't find it anywhere. One of the websites I found recommended Debbie Bliss Rialto yarn in place of it but the colours aren't so nice. The only yarn I can find with such lovely colours is bamboo but the pattern is designed for 4 ply and I'm not a competent enough knitter to translate it.
I've tried Janette's Rare Yarns and Pavi Yarns. Does anyone know of anywhere else I might be able to get it ? I can't believe that a magazine put out a pattern with yarns you can't easily find
